I didn’t realize how my life was something I needed an escape from until I stopped taking vacations. It’s temporary, but it’s been a way to realize that time off shouldn’t be an escape from life but an opportunity to sink deeper into it, and that allowed me to see what needed to change. It’s a little slower now, simpler, but without the extreme highs of vacations and lows of burnout, it feels more enjoyable.

Great to see you posting again! i'm a firm believer in resetting-- I probably do it a few times a week!
